Raafat W. Girgis, M.D.

Dr. Girgis is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine & psychosomatic Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, in Southern California, supervising and teaching Psychiatry residents and Medical students. He is triple Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction & Psychosomatic Medicine from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

During his career, Dr. Girgis has vast experience working with teenagers, adults and geriatric (older adult) population, with extensive and diverse expertise in treating big spectrum of mental illnesses and drug-related disorders in both academic and community-based settings. Due to his diverse background in different disciplines of the Medical field, he does consultation work on the medical floor and intensive care units of big general hospitals.
